Centreless grinding is a high-precision machining process used to achieve accurate diameter, excellent roundness, and superior surface finish on cylindrical components. Unlike conventional grinding, the job is not held between centres. Instead, the component is supported between a grinding wheel, a regulating wheel, and a work rest blade, allowing continuous and efficient material removal.
This process is ideal for grinding long bars, rods, shafts, and tubular components with tight dimensional tolerances and consistent quality.
